Are your watches, bracelets, and straps waterproof?

Yes they are! All of our timepieces, bracelets and accessories are tested to be up to 3 ATM water resistant. However, to keep your genuine leather band or steel mesh strap in the best condition, try to avoid getting it too wet or it may cause damage.

Are the straps on your watches interchangeable?

Yes. All current Tarrx Watches feature an interchangeable strap. Using a Spring Bar Tool You can also attach aftermarket bands if you feel the need to as well. With this system your watch will be a perfect fit for every occasion. Our straps are sized at 20mm in width.

How long is my order going to take to arrive?

Without knowing the exact specifics of your location and the products you ordered, it’s difficult to say. We want you and your order to be together as soon as possible, so we make every effort to ensure this happens! Our shipping policy goes into more detail on this. We offer FREE Shipping postage with any purchase over $100 NZD and standard Shipping for any orders under $100 NZD. If you need very urgent international delivery please write to our support team and we will take care of you.

Does Tarrx Watches ship internationally?

Absolutely. If you can read this, chances are that we ship to you. Check our Shipping Policy for the specifics. Any issues during the checkout process should be forwarded to sales@tarrxwatches.com, so that we can take care of them right away.

Will duties apply when shipping internationally?

Orders received from outside New Zealand may be subject to customs tariffs, depending on your local authorities. These funds flow exclusively to your local government, leaving Tarrx Watches out of the loop entirely. This means that we neither profit nor are responsible for the payment of any fees arising from the purchase of our products.

If the watches are too small or too big can I get a refund and return my watch?

For sizing issues, there are no refunds or returns because all relevant measurements are stated on the product descriptions. If you change your mind about the watch you’re allowed to return it for an immediate full-refund either in store credit or money depending on your situation. Returns only valid if it arrives back to Tarrx Watches in the same perfect condition as which it left (within 10 days).

Is My Credit Card Information Safe?

Your transaction and payment details are handled by our payment service provider with secure encryption and are of course under strict banking standards.Your credit card details are sent directly to the bank and cannot be read or accessed by any parties other than your bank, including Tarrx watches.

Do You Store My Payment Information?

No, Tarrx Watches does not receive or store any payment information you enter. All transactions are handled directly by our payment service provider. Your credit/debit card details are sent directly to the bank and cannot be read or accessed by any parties other than your bank.

What Is Not Covered Under The Warranty?

Aesthetic changes or defects due to normal wear and tear. Such as minor scratches on the case or buckles, watch band discoloration, plating peeling etc.

Damage caused by unwarrantable repair or modification of any type.

Battery, strap, crown or broken/damaged glass.

Tarrx Watches does not honor any warranty claims that are not accompanied by the original documentation. To obtain a repair or replacement under a 24-month warranty, you must ensure you have original proof of purchase.

What Does The Warranty Cover And How Long Is The Warranty For?

Our collection is made of high-quality materials and maintains a high standard. In the unlikely event that there is a defect during the manufacturing process, your watch is covered by our 24-month warranty.

This warranty includes the Japanese movement, dial, hands, indexes and is valid for a period of 24 months from the date of purchase. Any repairs after the expiration of the warranty will be subject to a service charge.

Please note broken/damaged glass is not covered under the 24 month warranty.

Our straps are made of genuine leather. Please note general wear and tear to the leather straps, including around the interchangeable pin is not covered under the 24 month warranty

Please note, due to the coating on the mesh strap, the clasp may be a little stiff initially and may be somewhat hard to open and close, this is temporary and will become easier to move and adjust.

Other parts of your watch and/or strap are not covered by this warranty. If your item is returned during the warranty period we will repair or replace the defective watch and/or watch part at no additional expense to you. This will be completed as promptly as possible after the item is returned to our warehouse.

Please note, you may be subject to costs of shipping the product depending on your location.

If you have unfortunately experienced a default or damage to your watch that you think is covered by our warranty, please go to the contact us tab at your earliest convenience and let us know.

To make the process as smooth as possible, please include the following information when you contact us.

  • Order number (If you received your item as a gift, you’ll need to contact the person who purchased it.
  • Please also include a clear photo(s) of the damage.
  • Your full address including postcode, and telephone number.

How long is my watch battery going to last?

Our watches are fitted with batteries that are expected to last between 2 and 4 years. This is dependent on factors such as temperature, humidity, rain and air pressure.

My Watch Stopped, What Should I Do?

If your watch stops, please set the time to 12:00 and check the crown is pushed completely in. Please wait 15 minutes to see if the minute hand has moved.

If it is still not moving, please contact us through the “contact us” tab at your earliest convenience.
